Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a Patient Care Technician for PRN employment in the Surgical ICU. The role performs routine patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support hospitalized patients.

Education required: High School diploma or GED; SC C.N.A. certification preferred. Previous experience or coursework is beneficial. MUSC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in the E-Verify program for employment eligibility.

Job Description

The Patient Care Technician performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.

Additional Job Description

Education: High School Graduate or hold a GED certificate required or SC C.N.A certification

Experience: Previous experience or course work preferred.
