Amentum is seeking a qualified professional to manage radioactive waste arising from decommissioning activities for JRC facilities in Italy. You will help develop and implement waste strategies in line with Italian, EU, and IAEA standards, supporting licensing and regulatory submissions.

The role demands strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and collaborative execution across teams to ensure safe waste handling, storage, and disposal while adhering to high safety and quality

Mansioni

Develop and implement radioactive waste management strategies for decommissioning projects.
Support development and implementation of waste management plans in compliance with Italian, EU, and IAEA standards.
Coordinate waste characterisation, handling, storage, transport and disposal activities.
Review contractor deliverables and provide technical recommendations to management.
Ensure regulatory compliance across IAEA, Euratom and Italian nuclear rules.
