WSP Italy seeks a Radwaste Worksite Supervisor Assistant to support a nuclear decommissioning programme in Ispra. The role emphasizes practical onsite solutions, supervision, and daily coordination with project stakeholders.

You will manage technical documentation, QA/QC records and provide progress updates to the Project Manager while collaborating with client teams and contractors in a regulated environment.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or related field with documented nuclear training.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in radioactive waste management, nuclear activities or decommissioning.
• Knowledge of nuclear safety, radiation protection, waste classification and waste management.
• Willingness to work full‑time onsite in Ispra with client-facing environment.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Experience with MS Project/Primavera, MS Office, STRIMS and QA/QC is advantageous.

• Support the implementation of agreed technical solutions for radioactive waste management onsite.
• Assist with worksite supervision, ensuring activities follow project requirements, safety expectations and procedures.
• Apply nuclear safety, radiation protection and waste management principles in daily onsite activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, QA/QC records, status updates and project materials.
• Provide daily updates to the Project Manager on onsite progress, issues, risks and next steps.
• Collaborate with client technical teams, WSP colleagues, contractors and stakeholders in a client‑facing setting.
