The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is seeking to establish a list of individuals with scientific expertise to support its activities in areas such as animal health, biological hazards, chemical contaminants, pesticides, plant health, GMOs, food additives, contact materials, enzymes, flavorings, feed additives, novel foods, nutrition, and social sciences.
This call aims to replace previous calls and will be valid for up to 5 years. Selected individuals will assist EFSA in risk assessments, data collection, review activities, and communication tasks, among others. Remuneration is fixed at 360 euros per day, with expenses reimbursed where applicable. Tasks may be performed remotely or on-site, depending on the activity.
Applicants must meet eligibility criteria, including citizenship of an EU Member State, EFTA country, or candidate country, and must demonstrate relevant education and professional experience, including publications and language proficiency. The process involves submitting an online application, with personal data processed in accordance with EU regulations.
