Notice of Call for Expressions of Interest - Scientific and Technical Support in various scientific and communication profiles

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) is seeking to establish a list of individuals with scientific expertise to support its activities in areas such as animal health, biological hazards, chemical contaminants, pesticides, plant health, GMOs, food additives, contact materials, enzymes, flavourings, feed additives, novel foods, nutrition, and social sciences.

The selected individuals will assist in risk assessments, data collection, literature reviews, peer reviews, and communication activities, among others. The call aims to replace previous calls and will be valid for up to 5 years, with a maximum total remuneration of €140,000.

Requirements include:

• Citizenship of an EU Member State, EFTA country, or candidate country; applications from third countries considered if expertise is unavailable locally.
• Relevant education and professional experience, including at least 3 years in related scientific fields, demonstrated by publications or reports.
• Proficiency in English, evidenced by publications, language certificates, or work experience.
