Notice of call for expressions of interest - Scientific and Technical Support - Various Scientific and Communication Profiles

European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) invites expressions of interest for scientific and technical support in areas including animal health, biological hazards, chemical contaminants, pesticides, plant health, GMOs, food additives, contact materials, enzymes, flavorings, feed additives, novel foods, nutrition, and social sciences.

This initiative aims to establish a list of qualified individuals to assist EFSA with risk assessments, data activities, and communication tasks. The support involves reviewing dossiers, providing advice, data collection, summarizing findings, and supporting public consultations, among other tasks.

Applicants must have relevant university education, at least three years of professional experience in related fields, and excellent communication skills in English. The list is valid for five years, with remuneration up to 140,000 € over the period, and tasks may be performed remotely or on-site as required.

Eligibility extends to citizens of the EU, EFTA, candidate countries, and qualified third-country experts. Exclusion criteria include bankruptcy, legal breaches, misconduct, or conflicts of interest. Applications are accepted online, with personal data processed according to EU regulations.
