Notice of call for expressions of interest - Scientific and Technical Support - Various Scientific and Communication Profiles

European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) invites expressions of interest for scientific and technical support in areas including animal health, biological hazards, chemical contaminants, pesticides, plant health, GMOs, food additives, contact materials, enzymes, flavourings, feed additives, novel foods, nutrition, and social sciences.

This initiative aims to establish a list of qualified individuals to assist EFSA with data activities, risk assessments, and risk communication tasks. The list will be valid for up to five years, with the possibility of inclusion of previous eligible candidates from earlier calls.

Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria, including citizenship requirements, professional experience, educational qualifications, and language proficiency. Exclusion and selection criteria are detailed, emphasizing integrity, experience, and expertise.

Remuneration is fixed at 360 euros per day, with expenses reimbursed as per contract terms. Most tasks will be performed remotely, with some requiring presence at EFSA premises.

To apply, candidates must submit an online application through the EFSA careers portal, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Supporting documents may be requested before contract award.
