Purpose Of The Position

As part of the general policy defined by the General Management, the North Italy Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving commercial development in the Northern Italy Area. This role includes full hierarchical responsibility for the sales team within the assigned territory.

Position Purpose

Leveraging expertise and in close collaboration with the Product Development team, the Area Sales Manager will identify market opportunities and initiatives to reinforce HM.CLAUSE's leading position, expand market penetration of innovative varieties, and cultivate strategic relationships with key customers in North Italy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales by maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
  • Manage major accounts and ensure team alignment for customer service.
  • Create and execute sales plans with accurate forecasts and oversee budgets.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to meet targets.
  • Implement and optimize CRM tools for sales effectiveness.
  • Contribute to portfolio, pricing, go-to-market, and communication strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education : Bachelor's degree or Engineering diploma in Agriculture or Agronomy.
  • Experience : Minimum 10 years in seed or agricultural industry within the region, with management experience valued.
  • Skills : Native Italian speaker, advanced English, leadership, organizational, negotiation skills, ability to work in multicultural environment.
  • Location : Based in Northern Italy.
  • Travel : Moderate travel outside Italy, potentially at continental or transcontinental level.
