MAPFRE RE is seeking a Non-Life Treaty Underwriter for its Milan branch. The role involves underwriting and analyzing Non-Life treaties, developing pricing tools, and responding to client needs in a dynamic international environment. Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree with at least 3 years in reinsurance, and possess strong analytical and teamwork skills.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience in reinsurance (Reinsurer / Broker / Insurance Company).
• Proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English. Spanish knowledge is a plus.

Non-Life Treaty Underwriter for the Milán Branch.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Underwriting / Analysis / Pricing of Non-Life treaties
• Technical studies, underwriting projects, participating in the improvement of pricing tools
• Explaining and defending MAPFRE RE's underwriting policy externally
• Coordinating client needs with the various MAPFRE RE Competence Centers

EXPERIENCE – QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in actuarial science, economics, applied mathematics, or a similar field, or technical training in (re)insurance
• Minimum 3 years of experience in reinsurance (Reinsurer / Broker / Insurance Company)
• Knowledge of CAT modeling tools is a plus
• Proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, etc.
