Westinghouse Electric Company in Monfalcone is seeking an NDE Operator to perform nondestructive examinations in accordance with NDE Engineer documents. You will report to the Quality Control Manager and work at the Monfalcone site.

The role requires 5+ years in nondestructive testing, ISO 9712/ASNT certifications, and availability for three shifts. Proficiency in Italian and English (B1) is required, with a base gross salary €30,000–€38,500 per year depending on experience.

Competenze

• High School diploma is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in nondestructive examinations in industrial environments or heavy steelworks.
• Qualification according to ISO 9712, ASNT/SNT-TC-1A and 97/23/CE (PED) – VT-PT-MT-UT (TOFD-PA).
• Availability to work in three shifts: Shift 1 6:00–14:00, Shift 2 14:00–22:00, Night Shift 22:00–06:00.
• Italian and English language knowledge (min. B1).

About The Role

The primary function for the NDE Operator is to conduct nondestructive examination according to the documents produced by the NDE Engineers.

You will report to Quality Control Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing, using penetrant liquids and X-rays;
• Prepare progress status reports;
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

Qualifications

• High School diploma;
• Previous experience in nondestructive examinations in industrial environments or heavy steelworks (min. 5 years);
• Qualification according to ISO 9712, ASNT/SNT-TC-1A and 97/23/CE (PED) – VT-PT-MT-UT (TOFD-PA);
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am;
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).
