Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks an NDE Operator to perform nondestructive examination according to NDE engineer documents at the Monfalcone site. You will report to the Quality Control Manager in Monfalcone.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of NDE experience in industrial environments or heavy steelworks, and the ability to work in three shifts. Italian and English knowledge at least B1 level is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 2 years of nondestructive examination experience in industrial environments or heavy steelworks.
• Willingness to work in three shifts: 6:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, 22:00–06:00.
• Italian and English knowledge at least B1 level.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondestructive testing using penetrant liquids and X-rays.
• Prepare progress status reports.
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

About The Role

The primary function for the NDE Operator is to conduct nondestructive examination according to the documents produced by the NDE Engineers. You will report to Quality Control Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing, using penetrant liquids and X-rays;
• Prepare progress status reports;
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

Qualifications

• High School diploma;
• Previous experience in nondestructive examinations in industrial environments or heavy steelworks (min. 2 years);
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am;
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base annual salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be €29,100 to €37,000.
