Job summary

Generali Italia is seeking an NLP & LLM Data Scientist to design and develop a Python-based library of text processing algorithms and new AI solutions. You will work with IT and internal teams to build robust, reusable components for analytics and automation.

The role involves deploying on AWS, collaborating across units, and continuously improving the central platform with scalable ML/AI capabilities. English proficiency at B2 is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in scientific disciplines (mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics).
• Proven experience with Python development (1–3 years).
• Proven experience as Data Scientist (at least 1 year) on text analytics use cases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and design scalable solutions.
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python code for various applications.
• Implement and optimize ML/AI algorithms, including generative models.
