Your Mission

As a New Business Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with partners, and driving revenue growth across Italy.

You will work closely with internal teams and vendors to deliver tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and activate new customer accounts (including dormant accounts and cold leads).
  • Grow existing accounts and support internal sales teams with account management.
  • Deliver product presentations and training to partners.
  • Prepare and execute partner business plans.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and value-added services.
  • Build strong relationships with vendor account teams.
  • Keep partners informed about product updates and market trends.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (training, marketing, product management) to support partner needs.
  • Ensure high-quality service through effective vendor collaboration.

Account Management

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and account profiles.
  • Monitor account performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and support strategic planning.
  • Attend customer meetings and work on-site when needed.
  • Reporting & Development

  • Submit timely and accurate forecasts and reports.
  • Attend internal and external training sessions.
  • Stay up to date with Westcon’s product portfolio and market developments.
  • Your Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in IT distribution or tech.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Networks solution expertise (Extreme Networks preferred) - Cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of Italian IT channel
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a hybrid work environment.
