Overview

About the Role

As our AWS Cloud Business Development Manager / Partner Sales Manager based in Milan, you’ll be the regional AWS subject matter expert, driving strategic growth and partner engagement across Italy. You’ll work closely with our Partner Account Managers and AWS teams to accelerate AWS resell revenue and enable our partners to thrive in their cloud journey.

This is a pivotal moment in our growth, offering you the chance to make a real impact and help shape the future of cloud distribution in Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Partner Enablement: Educate and support Westcon-Comstor teams and partners on AWS opportunities and value propositions.
  • Pipeline Development: Collaborate with account managers to build a robust AWS resell pipeline through targeted campaigns.
  • Strategic Engagement: Drive AWS adoption among existing and new partners, including professional and managed services.
  • Revenue Growth: Own and manage pipeline forecasting, reporting, and achievement of revenue and margin targets.
  • AWS Collaboration: Build strong relationships with AWS Partner Development Managers and drive co-sell programs.
  • Internal Alignment: Coordinate with local teams and AWS Marketplace Managers to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Marketing & Events: Support demand generation activities and partner events to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Proven experience in cloud services (preferably AWS).
  • Strong understanding of the channel ecosystem and two-tier distribution model.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and sales growth.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Based in our Milan office, with occasional travel.
