HDG is looking for a motivated New Business Developer to join the international team in the Milan office.

DESCRIPTION

The New Business Developer will be responsible for developing new business opportunities by expanding HDG's existing client portfolio.

The ideal candidate has experience in sales roles with a consultative and strategic approach, preferably within leading communication agencies based in Milan.

The role involves managing client relationships daily and overseeing the work of staff on specific projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Actively seek new potential clients through continuous monitoring and networking
  • Define and execute strategies to acquire new clients and propose tailored solutions to meet client objectives
  • Create targeted email communications and newsletters using the proprietary database, maintaining follow-ups via phone and email to strengthen client relationships and explore new business opportunities
  • Conduct market analyses and develop new activities for business growth
  • Prepare quotes and commercial proposals, manage back-office activities, and monitor project margins and efficiency
  • Achieve set quantitative and qualitative targets
  • Regularly monitor customer satisfaction and report findings to management
  • Develop proposals, presentations, marketing plans, and timelines
  • Review drafts to ensure alignment with briefs and present concepts
  • Manage account activities, including client acquisition and business development
  • Coordinate with the creative team in collaboration with the Creative Director
REQUIRED SKILLS
