Our client is a leading company in the transportation sector, and we are recruiting directly for the role of Network System Administrator. The candidate should have a generalist background with Windows and Unix/Linux systems and will support the infrastructure team across various tasks, including managing containerized environments.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting network infrastructure;
• Monitoring local and remote networks;
• Managing Unix/Linux, Windows Server, and SQL Server systems;
• Administering container solutions using Docker;
• Collaborating with the development team to ensure application functionality;
• Documenting business processes and configurations.

Required Skills:

• Technical/informatic diploma or degree;
• At least 3 years of experience in complex enterprise information systems or projects;
• Experience in managing and maintaining network/security devices;
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows Server systems;
• Basic knowledge of Docker for application containerization;
• Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python);
• Proficiency in English (B1-B2) for international communication.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SQL Server administration;
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP;
• Experience with Cloud environments like AWS or Azure;
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, especially Azure DevOps Pipelines.

Location: Malpensa Area (VA)

Work Mode: Hybrid, 2-3 days remote per week

Contract Type: Permanent employment with a proprietary contract including 14 monthly salaries, performance bonuses, €8 meal vouchers, competitive welfare benefits including travel and vacation packages discounts, health insurance with biennial check-ups.
