The Security Architect plays a key role in assisting customers and sales teams in designing and promoting advanced cybersecurity solutions.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in the Network Security space and has a deep understanding of Zero Trust security principles, IT architectures, SASE and SSE solutions, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and endpoint security.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and implement Zero Trust security strategies for customers.
2. Work with sales and marketing to promote Zero Trust solutions.
3. Provide technical advice and support to customers during all phases of the project.
4. Conduct security assessments and identify areas for improvement.
5. Maintain knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
6. Design security architectures based on Zero Trust principles.
7. Perform security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
8. Provide strategic advice on key security frameworks and best practices.
9. Collaborate with the product team to ensure solutions align with market needs.

Technical Skills Required :

1. Network Security and Zero Trust : Deep knowledge of Zero Trust architectures, micro-segmentation, and adaptive access.
2. Experience in implementing perimeter security strategies and protecting enterprise networks.
3. Security Technologies and Tools : Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) from leading vendors (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point).
4. Advanced knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Okta, CyberArk, Microsoft Azure AD.
5. Experience with endpoint security solutions, including those in the Security Service Edge (SSE) area.

Cloud and Hybrid Security Architectures and Solutions :

1. Familiarity with SASE and SSE architectures.
2. Experience with leading SASE / SSE solutions (e.g., Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access).
3. Understanding of security models in cloud and hybrid infrastructures.

Soft Skills :

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage complex projects.
• Customer focus and understanding of business requirements.
• Continuous learning and certification of new technologies.

Experience and Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline (preferred but not required).
• At least 5+ years of experience in IT security, with a minimum of 3 years in pre-sales roles or security solutions architecture.

Suggested certifications :

• CISSP (Certified Information Security Professional)
• CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• Certifications from major NGFW vendors (e.g., Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP Security, Check Point CCSA / CCSE)
• Certifications from major IAM vendors (e.g., Okta Certified Professional, CyberArk Defender, Microsoft Certified : Identity and Access Administrator Associate)
• Experience with cloud security solutions.
• Knowledge of Italian and European security regulations.
