Your day at NTT DATA

Be part of a competent and collaborative team supporting a strategic customer’s network infrastructure. Based in Milan, the team collaborates locally and internationally, focusing on Network and Network Security infrastructure, mainly with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, F5, Vmware Velocloud, and Riverbed technologies. This role offers the chance to work with a leader in Network Managed Services and a multinational eyewear and eye care company, enhancing your skills and competencies.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Network Engineer L1, you will deliver simple projects and resolve basic infrastructure issues. Your main responsibilities include:

• Staging and infrastructure setup
• Physical installations and configurations
• Functional testing and support for implementation
• Supporting Network Operations in incident resolution, changes, and requests
• Assisting in maintenance and change management activities

Qualifications

• IT educational background
• At least 1.5 years of experience as a Network Engineer in a multinational environment
• Cisco Certifications (CCNA); additional vendor certifications (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, VMware) are a plus
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in virtual and hybrid teams
• Customer-oriented attitude
• Proficiency in Italian and English; French is a plus
• Willingness to travel abroad as required
• Availability for on-duty scheduling
