The Opportunity

We are working with an established System Integrator that is looking to add a Network Engineer to its growing technical team in Modena.

This is an excellent opportunity for a networking professional who enjoys working across different customer environments and technical projects. You will be exposed to a broad range of networking and security technologies, working directly on the design, deployment, support and troubleshooting of customer infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support network solutions across customer environments
• Configure and maintain switches, routers, firewalls and wireless infrastructure
• Troubleshoot network, connectivity and wider infrastructure issues
• Support customer projects, installations and technical deployments
• Manage incidents, changes and service requests through to resolution
• Work closely with customers, internal technical teams and project stakeholders
• Provide technical support and guidance across a range of networking environments
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule when required

Technical Requirements

We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in networking and infrastructure, ideally gained within a System Integrator, Managed Service Provider or IT consultancy environment.

You should have experience with a selection of technologies such as:

• Cisco
• Aruba
• Juniper
• Fortinet
• Switching and routing
• Firewalls and network security
• Wireless networking

You will also need:

• Strong networking and infrastructure knowledge
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team
• Confidence working independently and managing your own workload
• A proactive approach to resolving technical issues
