Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Network Architect to join our team and play a critical role in the development of network architecture and services, integrations with systems, monitoring and automations to reduce time to market. In this position, you’ll work closely with remarkable people from different groups (technical and non-technical) from whom you will receive and retrieve needs and requirements that will help you in development, contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives. Who You Are:

Responsible for designing and implementing the network infrastructure, the network services of the organization. This includes developing and maintaining the architecture, ensuring the network's stability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

What You’ll Do:

Network Design:

• Design and develop scalable and secure network architectures to meet business requirements.
• Create detailed network diagrams and internal documentation.
• Plan and implement network infrastructure and network services.

Network Implementation

• Configure network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Configure virtual environments.
• Install and deploy network hardware and software.
• Support and resolve network issues.

Network Security

• Implement network security measures.
• Collaborate with security groups for audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Stay up to date on the latest security threats and mitigation techniques.

Network Optimization

• Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Optimize network performance through configuration changes and capacity planning.
• Implement network upgrades and enhancements.

Network Automation

• Design automation flows.
• Deploy automation script for provisioning and monitoring.
• Design integrations with IT systems.

Collaboration

• Documentation and training for Operations teams to manage network architecture and network services.
• Presentations to other teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their network needs.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

What You’ll Need:

• 5+ years of previous experience in the role
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, such as OSPF, ISIS, BGP.
• Strong understanding of MPLS services, such as L3VPN, L2VPN, EVPN-MPLS.
• Strong understanding of datacenter architecture, SPINE-LEAF with EVPN-VXLAN.
• Strong understanding of Multicast services.
• Strong experience with network devices, including routers ( Juniper, Cisco ), switches ( Juniper, Cisco, Arista ), and firewalls ( Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto ).
• Experience with virtualized infrastructures, such as virtual routers, virtual switch and virtual firewalls.
• Experience with virtual environments, such as VMware, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python.
• Experience with DevOps methodology and knowledge of versioning control by using GIT.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with monitoring tools, such as Telegraf, InfluxDB and Grafana. Knowledge of SNMP, Netflow and telemetry protocol as gRPC.
• Strong expertise supporting complex networks troubleshooting.
• Expertise of network security best practices.
• Proficiency in network design and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• English proficiency at a professional level.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Certification is a plus, such as CCNP or JNCIP.

Where You’ll Work: Turin, Italy.
