For our offices in Rome, Milan and Turin, we are looking for Network Wireless Engineer!

ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wireless networks design, planning, implementation, testing and continuous improvement
• WLANs design and implementation
• Propose solutions for network infrastructure improvement to meet business requirements in an evolutionary perspective
• Draft and maintain technical documentation related to network mapping, configuration and processes
• Continuous learning on technologies, products, services, standards, protocols and industry developments
• Knowledge of relevant data privacy laws and best practices

REQUIRED SKILLS

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Robotic Engineering or Management Engineering

Technical skills

• Ability to install, configure, test, diagnose, and maintain wireless network equipment (routers, switches, hubs, bridges, virtual private networks-VPNs, and network amplifiers)
• Knowledge of Cisco WLC and its use for provisioning and configuring Access Points
• Good knowledge of network management and security, including 802.11 b/g/n/ac standards and industry best practices
• Knowledge of firewalls (Fortinet, Juniper or Cisco ASA)
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Perl or Python
• Knowledge of Wi-Fi network design, analysis, optimization and troubleshooting tools (e.g. Ekahau)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges
• Strong propensity for innovation
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and good knowledge of English
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork

Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless
