An IT consulting company in Turin is seeking a skilled developer to maintain and create complex software systems for maritime logistics. Candidates should have expert knowledge in C# and the .NET Framework, along with strong SQL Server skills. The role requires at least 3 years of application development experience, a Bachelor's degree or relevant certification, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The position is onsite 5/5 in Turin, Italy.

Competenze

Expert knowledge of C# and .NET Framework including WPF, WinForms, and Entity Framework.
3+ years of application development experience focused on business process optimization.
Strong SQL Server skills with experience in stored procedures and user-defined functions.
Bachelor’s Degree or IT-related certification required.
Ability to improve efficiencies in product development
Experience with designing/implementing EDI solutions
Bachelor’s degree or IT cert; Master’s a plus
Available to work onsite 5/5 in Turin

Responsibilities

You will taking charge of the maintenance, design, and development of complex software systems that power global maritime logistics. You won\'t just write code; you will shape the tools that keep international trade moving.

Responsible for the maintenance, design, and development of complex computer software for a global ocean carrier.
Design software from requirements, applying industry-leading development practices to ensure high-quality delivery.
Participate in technical discussions, take full ownership of software components from initial design to final delivery, and provide expert debugging skills.

Qualifications

Expert knowledge of C# and .NET Framework (including WPF, WinForms, Serialization, Reflection, Security, ADO.NET, multi-threading, and Entity Framework).
3+ years of application development experience with a strong focus on business process optimization.
Very strong SQL Server skills, including stored procedures, user-defined functions, tables, indexes and views.
Strong understanding of CS fundamentals with proven problem-solving and quantitative analytical skills.
Ability to implement and continually improve efficiencies within the product development process.
Direct experience with designing, developing, and implementing EDI solutions.
Bachelor’s Degree or IT-related certification. A Master’s degree in Computer Science is a significant plus.
Available to work onsite 5/5 in Turin.
