Nestlé Purina Italy cerca un ingegnere per supportare l’installazione, l’avvio e l’operazione di sistemi di utility in un nuovo stabilimento di Mantova. Selezionerà progetti, revisionerà P&IDs e coordinerà fornitori e appaltatori per garantire la consegna entro scadenze e standard di qualità.

Il candidato ideale possiede laurea in ingegneria, almeno 5+ anni di esperienza in Industrial Services e fluente italiano/inglese. Si offre ruolo permanente a tempo pieno presso un progetto greenfield.

Competenze

• Laurea in Ingegneria (meccanica o elettrica) con esperienza pratica in ingegneria.
• Esperienza in almeno una disciplina di Industrial Services, preferibilmente in produzione alimentare, 5+ anni.
• Fluente in italiano e inglese.

Mansioni

• Progettazione, coordinamento e avvio di sistemi di distribuzione utilities nell’impianto.
• Supporto a costruzione e collaudo di sistemi di utility secondo i progetti.
• Gestione delle attività di commissioning, SAT e start-up.
• Garantire conformità agli standard Nestlé Engineering e normative locali.
• Promuovere sicurezza, permitti di lavoro e compliance ambientale.

Industrial Services | Utilities Leader

• Industrial Services | Utilities Leader
• Permanent role, full-time

• Engineering University Degree (e.g. mechanical, electrical) and substantial practical experience in engineering
• Experience in at least one Industrial Services engineering discipline, preferably in food related manufacturing environment (5+ years)
• Fluency in Italian and English is required.
• Compensation Package: CCNL Industria Alimentare, Impiegato, 2° level, Gross Annual Base Salary €48.000,000.

Position Summary: Responsible for the design coordination, construction support, commissioning, and operational readiness of all factory utility distribution systems required for the successful delivery of the new greenfield manufacturing facility.

A day in the life of the Industrial Services | Utilities Engineer:

Utility Distribution Systems:

Steam distribution, Condensate recovery, Compressed air distribution, Chilled water distribution, Cooling waste, Process water, Potable water, Hot water, HVAC utility interfaces, Natural gas distribution systems, Utility pipe bridges and underground utility networks, Utility metering systems, Utility monitoring systems, Fire protection systems

Engineering & Design:

Review utility system designs and deliverables. Ensure utility distribution networks meet process and build requirements. Review P&IDs, layouts, technical specifications, calculations and contractor submissions. Participate in design reviews and constructability reviews. Ensure compliance with Nestlé Engineering Standards and local regulations.

Construction Support:

Coordinate utility installation activities with contractors and suppliers. Support construction planning and sequencing. Resolve technical issues arising during construction. Verify installation quality and compliance with approved designs. Participate in inspections and punch-list management. Monitor construction progress against project milestones.

Commissioning & Start-Up:

Prepare and execute commissioning plans for utility distribution systems. Coordinate flushing and performance testing. Support utility system start-up and troubleshooting. Verify system performance against design requirements. Participate on SAT, commissioning, and handover activities. Ensure all utility systems are operational

Safety & Compliance:

Promote safe design and construction practices. Support permit‑to‑work and contractor safety programs. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Ensure utility systems meet food safety and hygienic design requirements.

What will make you successful?

• For factories with large built-up distributed ammonia plants (Ice Cream, Frozen Food or Freeze Drying, industrial refrigeration background and ammonia experience is required
• Experience operating or supervising others who operate heating pressure systems (gas boilers) or other large combustion systems (steam, hot water)
• Experience in P&ID (piping instrumentation diagram)
• Experience in industrial plants: AHU, chillers, fire protection systems, water and steam generation, water treatment, BMS and electrical equipment.
• Fluency in Italian and English is required.
