Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Medical Director to provide medical leadership for clinical trials within our client environment. You will oversee protocol development, site selection and medical monitoring to ensure patient safety and data integrity.

The role involves collaboration with investigators, sponsors and internal departments, ensuring adherence to SOPs and GCP. Ideal candidates have an MD with nephrology expertise and strong experience in pharmaceutical development.

Competenze

• Medical Doctor with nephrology specialty.
• Industry experience in clinical development required.
• Significant experience in pharmaceutical industry, clinical trials and pharmaceutical medicine.
• Familiarity with NDA submission process.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines for adverse event reporting.

Mansioni

• Provide medical leadership to study teams, including protocol development and reviews.
• Real-time medical monitoring of clinical studies to ensure patient safety and validity of endpoints.
• Serve as chief liaison between sponsor and PPD internal departments across study phases.
• Educate sites with protocol-specific procedures during investigator meetings.
• Ensure study compliance with SOPs and GCP; address medical risks and issues with cross-functional teams.
