Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone, IT, is seeking an NDE Operator to conduct nondestructive examinations per NDE engineer documents. The role reports to the Quality Control Manager on site and involves shift work.

The position requires a High School diploma, 5+ years NDT experience, ISO 9712/ASNT/SNT-TC-1A/PED certifications, and fluency in Italian and English (min B1). Salary range €30,000–€38,500 gross annually applies.

About The Role

The primary function for the NDE Operator is to conduct nondestructive examination according to the documents produced by the NDE Engineers.

You will report to Quality Control Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing, using penetrant liquids and X-rays;
• Prepare progress status reports;
• Comply with company procedures (safety, quality, risk and security).

Qualifications

• High School diploma;
• Previous experience in nondestructive examinations in industrial environments or heavy steelworks (min. 5 years);
• Qualification according to ISO 9712, ASNT/SNT-TC-1A and 97/23/CE (PED) - VT-PT-MT-UT (TOFD-PA);
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday - Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:0 am;
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).
