Hill International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Naval & WCR Engineer to join our team.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop and implement effective design and construction strategies for naval and waterfront structures.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings, and other project documentation.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Review and approve contractor submittals and change orders.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members.
  • Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in naval and waterfront engineering.
  • Travel to project sites within the MENA & Europe regions as needed.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in naval and waterfront engineering, preferably in the MENA & Europe regions.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
  • Strong knowledge of design standards, codes, and regulations related to naval and waterfront structures.
  • Experience with project management and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites within the MENA & Europe regions.
