MSC Technology Italia is seeking an experienced Naval IT Business Analyst to join its Operational team. The role combines naval architecture and marine engineering with IT and business analysis to act as a bridge between Planning teams, stakeholders and software developers.

Competenze

Experience translating maritime requirements into software specs.
Strong understanding of vessel load and stowage planning concepts.
Experience interfacing with planning offices, terminals, and IT teams.

Mansioni

Act as a Business-to-IT interface, combining naval domain expertise with BA activities to support vessel planning software.
Collect, analyze, structure, and document business requirements from Planning Offices and terminals into functional specs for developers.
Translate vessel physics, stability principles, regulatory requirements, and constraints into actionable requirements.
Provide technical expertise on vessel stowage planning, stability and safety parameters for software implementations.
Design and maintain vessel profiles within Planning and Stowage software, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational needs.
Support planning offices in understanding requirements and resolving discrepancies between planning results and vessel conditions.
Collaborate across software engineers, product managers, and domain experts throughout the development lifecycle.
