Thales Group in Gorgonzola, Italy, seeks a Navigation systems project engineer responsible for all technical activities and customer interfaces during offer and support phases of domestic/export projects. You will lead solution architecture, perform site surveys, and drive product adaptations with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliant, effective deployments.

The role requires broad engineering expertise across electronics, RF, software and telecom, plus the ability to travel

Competenze

• Engineering education across electronics, RF, software, telecom or mechanical disciplines.

Mansioni

• Analyze tender technical parts (compliance matrix) with support from Solution Engineering Managers.
• Perform Site Surveys and Site Survey Reports to adapt solutions to site constraints.
• Define optimal solution architecture using qualified products and simulations.
• Prepare design documentation and configuration files per customer site and contracts.
• Provide technical specs and contribute to statements of work for suppliers.
• Support project manager in scope definition for Thales and supplier products.
• Assist on-site to resolve technical issues in coordination with product engineering and QA teams.
• Support testing with detailed documentation for Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests.
