We are growing and have a fantastic opportunity for a National Sales Manager based in Milan, Italy to lead our highly successful sales team. You will report directly to the EMEA Southern Cluster Head and will be primarily responsible for in country Key Account / Field sales growth (Primary Care & Secondary Care & Pharmacies).

  • About the role

In this role you will be responsible for executing best in class sales strategy to achieve sales goals and marketing objectives for the LifeScan portfolio of products. You will also be responsible for developing annual strategies & business plans that are consistent with the broader organization initiatives, accountable for quarterly and annual sales goals. You will lead a team of exceptionally talented individuals to ensure they continue to develop and meet their targets.

  • Responsibilities will include
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies, effective coaching, performance management, hiring and backfilling of sales vacant positions; field sales expansion if applicable
  • Setting and managing sales growth targets (in alignment with EMEA Southern Cluster commercial plans)
  • Collaboration with Marketing and other cross functional teams to develop, execute and deliver joint business plans
  • Engaging KOL's, local and national Diabetes Associations, and other stakeholders in the marketplace
  • Maintaining effective and productive relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Accountable management of Sales P&L and budgets

Requirements

  • Required Skills

In order to be successful in this role, you will hold knowledge and practical experience in the commercial field, ideally with expertise at a senior level in health, particularly in the basics of Diabetes Mellitus and specifically on the techniques and products for SMBG / CGM / FGM as well. As a person you will be driven and results oriented; self-motivated and highly accountable.

Together with :

  • Have a significant capacity for coaching, leadership, coordination, and motivation of the team working under his responsibility (experience required +5 years)
  • Will be capable for showing great skills in organizing and planning
  • Holder of a great capacity for transmitting ideas and strategic vision for the future
  • In-depth knowledge of managing a high-performance sales team
  • Familiarity with sales trends and regulations in Italy
  • Will have an appreciable extent of charisma to maintain the personal relationships that the performance of his / her job requires
  • Good level of English language.
