Do you have experience in Pricing? We are looking for a National Road Logistics Tender & Pricing Specialist for our Milano office.

Your Role

The National Road Logistics Tender & Pricing Specialist works within the Road Logistics Function. Road Logistics at Kuehne + Nagel is a fundamental asset providing road shipping and forwarding solutions to meet customer performance goals. The role partners with clients across various industries, including Pharma Healthcare, Perishables, Project Logistics, Automotive, Industrial, and High Tech, offering tailored and end-to-end services.

Your Responsibilities

1. Steer and coordinate customer requests for proposals for defined road logistics tenders and industries.
2. Manage responses to customer requests for quotations aiming to secure or retain business by preparing competitive proposals.
3. Engage with local and national tender teams and functional units to develop competitive pricing models and translate them into customer pricing templates, ensuring rate consistency and market logic.
4. Develop a pricing validation and benchmarking process to improve efficiency and success rates.
5. Prepare professional, tailored answers to tenders, ensuring terms and conditions align with policies.
6. Operate in accordance with policies, objectives, and management system documents related to Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, and Information Security.

Your Skills and Experiences

1. Strong knowledge of road logistics, especially pricing and calculations.
2. Degree in business-related fields from a university.
3. Experience with large tenders, either for a logistics service provider or as a supply chain expert in a large road logistics company.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Highly motivated to pursue new business opportunities.
6. Fluent in Italian and proficient in English communication.
