Market Access Director - CSL Vifor

We are seeking a highly experienced Market Access Director to lead our market access strategies and initiatives. The role involves developing value dossiers, leading cross-functional teams, shaping tender strategies, and establishing relationships with healthcare authorities and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to creating and adapting value dossiers for new product submissions.
  2. Lead the Market Access field team.
  3. Shape tender strategies in collaboration with the global team.
  4. Participate as a key member of the cross-functional country leadership team to develop local strategies.
  5. Support the collection and creation of health economic data.
  6. Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare authorities, scientific associations, and external stakeholders to facilitate access and adoption of CSL Vifor products.
  7. Identify and address obstacles to product availability and explore partnership opportunities.
  8. Serve as the internal point of contact for all national market access activities.
  9. Ensure compliance with internal processes, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and compliance requirements.
  10. Report adverse reactions promptly and support product admission documentation.

Additional Tasks:

  1. Implement business strategies, including innovative pricing and access approaches.
  2. Prepare health economic submissions and conduct assessments for new and existing products.
  3. Collaborate with regional teams to monitor external environments and identify value-added opportunities.
  4. Manage the market access field team to ensure motivation and expertise.
  5. Coordinate tender monitoring at regional/local levels.
  6. Monitor societal policy developments and stakeholder positions to identify opportunities and threats.
  7. Integrate HEOR into business plans and develop economic and cost-effectiveness arguments.
  8. Build and maintain a network with health authorities and external stakeholders aligned with commercial strategies.
  9. Facilitate feedback exchange on national and regional plan implementation.
  10. Collaborate with management to identify initiatives and resources for key activities.
  11. Provide regular updates to senior management on market access activities and issues.
  12. Contribute business intelligence and prepare relevant reports and documents.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business or life sciences; additional education preferred.
  2. 35+ years of experience in market access roles within large pharma companies, including stakeholder engagement at regional and national levels.
  3. Experience in team leadership.
  4. Knowledge of national health systems and regulations or 12+ years in public health administration roles.
  5. Fluent in English at a professional level.
