Descrizione del lavoro

As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the yearly and long-term profitable sales growth of your customers in Italy. Our sales office for the Italian market, currently with 5 employees and located in Milano, is expanding to further grow our brands, delicious Biscoff products, and healthy snacks.

Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and implementing an account plan aligned with Lotus Bakeries' strategy and fostering strong commercial relationships.
  2. Translating brand strategy at the customer level through growth pillars such as range, shelf presence, promotions, and displays.
  3. Implementing national marketing initiatives to contribute to the growth of Lotus Bakeries volumes.
  4. Optimizing return on available budget and resources.
  5. Monitoring and managing administrative, logistical, or financial issues in close collaboration with the sales assistant.
  6. Developing and executing profitable pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies.
  7. Managing customer relationships and contracts to meet commercial objectives, making responsible use of budgets and resources.
  8. Collaborating with Category Management to develop and implement growth levers.
  9. Working with field sales to translate range and promotional initiatives into clear KPIs and effective market approaches.
  10. Building and maintaining an effective network within the FMCG market.
  11. Analyzing market data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  12. Communicating relevant commercial information efficiently to internal and external stakeholders.
  13. Building sustainable customer contacts, demonstrating strong analytical skills, proactive thinking, a hands-on mentality, and being a team player.
Profile:
  • Master's degree, preferably in an economic field.
  • Minimum 5 years of FMCG experience.
  • Understanding of sales process dynamics at head office, regional, and agency levels.
  • Good knowledge of IRI / GFK execution data.
  • Affinity with numbers and data analysis.
  • Team player with a passion for sales and strong brands, positive mindset, analytical skills, and interpersonal abilities.
