Job Description

National Account Manager - Chains

About the Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced National Key Account Manager to manage and develop relationships with major national restaurant chains. This role is within the Italian Sales team, working in a successful environment committed to continuous improvement and making a difference at Kraft Heinz.

You will report to the Sales Manager, working remotely from home, taking ownership of the Chains Channel, and playing a pivotal role in building positive relationships with key stakeholders to enhance trust and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and growing chains across Italy, primarily in the North, maintaining and strengthening key relationships, and influencing customer satisfaction.
  • Leading commercial negotiations with decision-makers in restaurant chains, managing contracts, and optimizing pricing and service conditions.
  • Proactively identifying new prospects and opportunities.
  • Managing post-sales relationships to ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and maintaining high service levels.
  • Developing the Chains channel through marketing and trade marketing activities.
  • Developing and implementing the Annual Operating Plan, including agreements, pricing, new product listings, innovations, and campaigns.

Qualifications

Hard Skills

  • College Degree
  • Experience:
  • 3-6 years in sales, preferably in food & beverage sector, with experience managing restaurant chains or roles in sales or procurement within restaurant chains considered a plus.
  • Sales & Negotiation Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with high-level clients.
  • AFH Industry Knowledge:
  • Deep understanding of Away from Home dynamics, procurement, and purchasing policies.
  • Other Skills:
  • Ownership attitude, proactive learning, results-driven, independent leadership.
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
