For our Vado Ligure site in Italy, we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Special Process Expert.

Purpose of the Job

• Coordinate the industrial control of the Special Processes (SP) during tender phase, product development, industrialization, manufacturing, and warranty.
• Contribute to technology and activity transfers.
• In case of major SP quality crisis (major technical risk, safety, or financial), provide the project manager with a clear problem analysis (root causes, associated risks) and options to resolve the crisis, enabling confident decision-making.
• Control external communication (written and oral) as it involves AT's responsibility towards third parties.

Activities by Step of the Industrial Process

Tender

• Contribute during the tender phase, especially in product design and industrialization, to consider industrial constraints and requirements, optimizing costs and minimizing risks.

Concurrent Engineering

• Participate in specification and design phases to inform technical solution decisions related to special processes.
• Develop the SP REX and collaborate with product engineering to adjust the design if necessary.

Industrialization

• Manage industrial risk via Process FMEA and related improvement plans.
• Define requirements and rules for tooling necessary for production.
• Qualify the product/process pair and industrial means in accordance with the design.
• Support sourcing and SQD teams in supplier qualification and quality follow-up for SP-related suppliers; contribute to developing local suppliers.
• Manage evolution of quality control processes dedicated to SP.
• Ensure deployment and validation of new processes as per project planning.
• Issue relevant documents in the Quality System.
• Manage technicians involved in the process.
