Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and supervise construction processes respecting project standards, quality procedures, environmental and safety regulations, timelines, and costs.
2. Define environmental prevention and protection measures on-site and ensure their transfer to Alstom personnel and subcontractors.
3. Operate in compliance with safety and environmental measures, supervise their application, and act as Safety Manager as per current regulations.
4. Manage the receipt and use of materials and equipment under the supervision of the Construction Manager, and implement operational instructions and design documents for assembly.
5. Coordinate and direct a team comprising team leaders, workers, and machine operators, providing necessary instructions for installation activities.
6. Ensure team safety and be authorized to sign work permits (e.g., IE 605 for power disconnection).
7. Understand and independently interpret main project documents.
8. Supervise subcontractor activities, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with EHS and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements

Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent, or technical diploma with at least 5 years of experience as assistant or team leader.

Desired Knowledge / Experience

Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in manufacturing or similar sector, preferably in metalworking companies. Knowledge of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 standards. Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Training in electric traction systems construction, LFM, Track Behaviour.
