A global biopharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced MSL Manager to lead the national Medical Science Liaison team in Oncology-Hematology. The role involves managing a strategic product launch, fostering team leadership, and overseeing compliance and performance standards. The ideal candidate should have a scientific background and at least five years of MSL experience, focusing on team management and scientific excellence.

On its behalf, we are seeking an experienced MSL Manager to lead the national Medical Science Liaison team in the Oncology-Hematology area. The selected candidate will also be directly responsible for the strategic and scientific field management of a key product under launch.
Main Responsibilities
Leadership :
Product Leadership – New Product :
Own the strategic field execution and scientific positioning of new drugGather and communicate medical insights linked to the drugEnsure compliant and effective cross-functional collaboration for launch
Team Management : Territory Planning
Ensure all MSL plans align with the local medical strategyContribute to planning and execution of scientific field activities
Objectives & Metrics :
Set and monitor individual goalsEnsure CRM use and field analytics disciplineTrack team performance vs global standards
Follow-up & Execution :
Monitor execution of strategy and team progressApprove reports and expensesGuarantee full regulatory compliance
Coaching & Performance :
Conduct field coaching and regular 1 : 1 feedbackElevate scientific standards through direct mentorship
Training & Development :
Recruit, train, and retain MSL talentAddress training needs and ensure upskillingProvide continuous scientific updates with medical team supportUse the IMPACT model for coaching and developmentOversee compliance and skills training
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Partner with Sales, Market Access, and other commercial teamsManage internal communication of field insightsMaintain compliance in all external and internal interactions
Medical Affairs Strategy :
Work closely with Medical Affairs teams (local / global)Supervise MSL support to company-sponsored studiesDetect and share opportunities and threats in the medical landscapeBuild and maintain strong relationships with TLsOversee ISS proposals and their follow-up
Requirements
Education :
Scientific degree (ideally MSc, PhD, MD, Pharm D)
Experience :
Min. 5 years as an MSL with proven successConsolidated people management experience strongly preferredExperience with TL engagement and scientific presentations preferred
