Prof. Marco A. Cassatella invites scholars to present expressions of interest in applying jointly with the Department of Medicine - Institute of General Pathology at the University of Verona for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF) on Innate immunity and cancer.

Hosting Research Group / Supervisor
We are looking for applicants for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship to be presented with our Centre / Department as the main host institution.
Prof. Cassatella’s research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms regulating innate immune cells in the context of innate immunity and cancer. His group has contributed significantly to the understanding of neutrophil functions, their role in angiogenesis, and their impact on tumor biology. Recent efforts include studying human slan+ monocytes in tumors and identifying novel neutrophil progenitors, with ongoing characterization of their roles in cancer.
Selected candidates will receive academic and administrative support from the Centre / Department and the University of Verona Grant Office for proposal preparation.
