Johnson & Johnson Latina site is hiring an Assistant Scientist (Temporary Contract) in MSAT. You will lead New Product Introduction and Technical Transfer projects, coordinating with multiple departments and reporting to the MSAT Sr SPV.

The role emphasizes risk mitigation, quality emphasis, and timely documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in engineering or related fields, has 6+ months pharma experience (oral solids preferred), and demonstrates strong English proficiency

• Fluent in English (B2 level or above) with good GMP knowledge.

For the Italian production plant of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (Borgo San Michele-Latina) we are looking for an ASSISTANT SCIENTIST to be hired with a TEMPORARY CONTRACT in the MSAT DEPARTMENT.
The person will be part of the team who manage "New Product Introduction/ Technical Transfer" projects and will report to the MSAT Sr SPV.

Main responsibility

• As Project Leader ensure planning and coordination of the activities in collaboration with the various departments involved in the implementation of the projects.
• Proactively identifying risks to define mitigation strategies.
• Assess the business impact, quality, compliance and safety involving stakeholders from other departments.
• Ensure compliance with the time of introduction, balancing the base business production needs.
• Ensure timely communication to MSAT Sr Manager and Global Functions to align with the production plans themselves.
• Ensure the timely availability of quality documentation for the project execution.
• Performs and/or support investigations for non-conformances in case of occurrence during project activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering, Farmacy, CTF or Chemistry
• At least 6th month experience in the pharmaceutical industry (Oral Solid production is preferred)
• Academic knowledge of lines, processes, materials and equipment for pharmaceutical process (oral solid pharma production competence is preferred).
• Fluent in English (B2 level and above)
• Good knowledge of quality, compliance and GMP related to manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
• Basic experience in Project Management.
• Able to work in a multi-department and dynamic environment and to deal urgencies on the shop floor.
• Ability to coordinate a cross functional team to ensure the correct execution of the project activities according to the agreed timing.
• Skills of ownership and accountability
• Skilled in problem-solving and decision making
• Knowledge and basic experience in PAT, MVA and Chemometrics applications.
• Fluent in English
• Capacity to lead calls with costumers.
• Capability to easily connect with people and prepare smart proposals for project approaches.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to present scientific data and concepts effectively to international standards.

Anticipated pay range in the primary posting location:

• €29 800,00 - €48 530,00

The anticipated pay ranges for additional locations are:

• Italy - The anticipated base pay range for this position is 29,800 - 42,200
