Motion Designer

About the role :

Working with an FMCG client, the Motion Designer will work as part of a team creating still & moving content including motion, editing, and delivery. This role also supports a wide range of internal and external communications needs (executive presentations, employee digital communications, etc.) and brand support. The candidate must understand how different digital channels present different challenges and opportunities, working closely with Designers to create content for internal and external use, especially social media. The role requires collaboration and the ability to work independently, reporting to the Studio Lead within a team of 15 including designers, motion designers, and account managers.

What you will be doing :

  • Producing high-quality video motion content under tight deadlines.
  • Creating engaging audiovisual videos optimized for social media, utilizing current styles, trends, and transitions.
  • Receiving resources, toolkits, and briefs with footage to create videos based on scripts or storyboards.
  • Producing creative motion graphics and animations, including from scratch or by adapting existing work.
  • Experimenting with styles and techniques, including designing graphic elements.
  • Selecting or suggesting appropriate music for videos.
  • Following brand guidelines while balancing creativity and consistency.

What you need to be great in this role :

  • Previous motion design experience in an advertising agency.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • A strong reel showcasing your work.
  • Excellent communication skills across departments.
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal guidance, handling uncertainty and evolving goals.
  • Experience collaborating with clients to meet creative briefs.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of assets and projects on tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
  • Expertise in Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • Team player attitude and experience in the alcohol and beverage sectors.
