Job summary

Moncler Group in Milan, Italy is seeking a Retail Allocator to join our Integrated Business Planning HQ. The role focuses on allocation and replenishment, inventory optimization, and ensuring product availability across markets.

You will analyze stock, forecast data and KPIs, collaborating with Planning, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Logistics and HQ teams to drive data-driven decisions and improve inventory productivity.

Qualifications

  • Three+ years of experience in Allocation, Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics or similar analytical roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and large data handling.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Manage allocation and replenishment activities across geographical areas.
  • Monitor stock levels, orders, shipments and forecast data to identify issues.
  • Track KPIs like Sell Through, Weeks of Supply, Stock Cover, OOS and Overstock.
  • Identify overstock/understock and propose allocation and stock transfers.
  • Coordinate stock rebalancing across markets, regions and channels.
  • Support forecasting and inventory planning with historical data and trends.
  • Monitor inbound/outbound shipments and resolve delays with relevant teams.
  • Support prioritization processes during limited product availability.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for corporate teams and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Logistics and HQ functions.

We are looking for an engaged and passionate Retail Allocator to join our Integrated Business Planning Function, in our HQ in Milan, Italy.

Your Impact

The candidate will support Allocation and Replenishment activities, contributing to inventory optimization and product availability across markets, through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

In Particular, The Retail Allocator Will Be Responsible For
  • Manage allocation and replenishment activities across different geographical areas, ensuring the optimal balance between inventory levels, demand and commercial priorities
  • Monitor and analyze stock levels, orders, shipments and forecast data, identifying potential issues and supporting corrective actions when necessary
  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators such as Sell Through, Weeks of Supply, Stock Cover, Out of Stock and Overstock to assess inventory performance
  • Identify and manage situations of overstock, understock, and out-of-stock by proposing allocation, replenishment, stock transfer and rebalancing actions
  • Coordinate stock rebalancing activities across markets, regions and channels to maximize sales opportunities and improve inventory productivity
  • Support forecasting and inventory planning activities through analysis of historical data, sales trends, coverage levels and future product availability
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with relevant departments to resolve delays, discrepancies or operational issues
  • Support shipment and allocation prioritization processes in situations of limited product availability, balancing business priorities and market requirements
  • Prepare and maintain regular reporting and ad hoc analyses to support corporate teams and business decision-making processes
  • Partner with regional teams to understand market needs, providing analytical support and challenging local requests when required based on data-driven insights and global priorities
  • Collaborate closely with Planning, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Logistics, Retail, E-commerce, and other HQ functions involved in inventory management processes
  • Manage multiple markets and priorities simultaneously, working independently and driving actions based on business impact and performance
Qualifications
Who We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in Allocation, Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics or other highly analytical roles
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong ability to work with large volumes of data
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights and operational recommendations
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven decision-making approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English
