Our engineering team is seeking a MBD Engineer with MATLAB and Simulink experience. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, detail-oriented, responsible, open-minded, communicative, team-oriented, and proficient in English. Join our team of enthusiastic and experienced professionals to lead the software development process for the driver assistance systems of future vehicles from a renowned global automotive manufacturer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of challenging features that will be used daily by millions once the next generation of vehicles is launched.

Responsibilities
  1. Model-based development using MATLAB/Simulink:
    • Develop Simulink and Stateflow models for control logic;
    • Implement control algorithms for automotive ADAS systems;
    • Define and simulate models to validate system behavior;
  2. Code generation and integration:
    • Use MATLAB-based tools to generate C++ code from models;
    • Ensure compliance with MISRA and other automotive coding standards;
    • Integrate generated code into hand-coded interfaces;
  3. Testing and validation:
    • Perform Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) testing;
    • Create and execute test harnesses;
  4. Documentation and compliance:
    • Follow customer development process guidelines and contribute to process improvements;
    • Maintain proper documentation of models, configurations, and test results;
    • Document issues, resolutions, and lessons learned for future reference.
Skills
Must have
  • Minimum 4 years of automotive experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow, Vector DaVinci Configurator, Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), auto code generation, AUTOSAR, Jira, and Agile methodologies.
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of CAN/CAN_FD communication protocols, NVIDIA stack, Functional Safety, C++, Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), Git/GitLab.
