Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance testing in live network with end user perspective:
2. Conduct field test on new mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, wearables etc.) to ensure proper operation once launched on the market
3. Software (SW) testing:
1. Test Cases (TC) to deeply check basic functions operation
2. Interoperability Testing (IOT) with all network Operators and SIM Card manufacturers
3. Compatibility testing with Samsung and 3rd party devices and systems
4. Performance testing:
1. Audio and video quality testing
2. Call success, drop, throughput and other performance testing, static and on-the-road
3. Use case current consumption scenario checking
5. 5G, LTE, RCS and other network specific features (HW/SW) validation
6. B2B and B2C key application testing
7. Discuss with other test members and R&D to ensure that proper solutions are implemented and checked, consider possible impact on market
8. Maintain ownership of the assigned project, coordinate with other European Countries, manage the time schedule, provide proper reporting
9. Investigate major VOCs in close cooperation with Service Division and R&D
10. Contribute to define and implement processes and procedures to be adopted Country- or Europe-wide
11. Define, discuss and evaluate testing tool specifications; implement their adoption
12. Keep abreast of new technologies in mobile field, study, understand and be ready to test them
13. Validate voice-activated artificial intelligence features
14. Support Mobile Operators self-certification testing:
1. SW tests
2. Field and lab performance tests

5. What we need for this role
1. Educational Background: Engineering Master with Telecommunication or IT specialization or other STEM degrees (preferred), or secondary STEM school degree
2. Computer Knowledge. Programming and main automation software skills are a plus.
3. Technical Knowledge: Mobile Networks, OS and Applications preferred.
4. Language Knowledge: Good written and spoken English.
5. Travel required: 20-30%
