OHB Italia is seeking a Mission Control System Engineer to design, integrate and operate satellite mission control and communication systems. You will work across the system life cycle with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure TT&C reliability, system interfaces, and operational procedures during critical mission phases.

The role involves defining architecture, coordinating MIB, and supporting real-time operations from launch to commissioning.

Competenze

• Master's degree in STEM disciplines.
• Solid knowledge of TT&C principles and mission control concepts.
• Experience with TM/TC protocols (CCSDS, ECSS) and Mission Control systems.
• Familiarity with one programming language (Python, C/C++, Java) or Linux environments.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex space systems.

• Specify MCS requirements and interfaces, including Space to Ground and Ground to Ground interfaces.
• Collaborate with satellite specialists to integrate telemetry, tracking & command.

In this role you will help design, integrate and operate mission control and communication systems for satellites. You will influence system architecture, interfaces, and operational procedures during critical mission phases. Your work will support continuous process improvement and innovative approaches in mission control.
