Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager for construction projects in Milan. The role focuses on controlling project cost, schedule, and procurement, with responsibility for coordinating General Contractors, vendors and consultants.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Construction Management, has real estate PM experience, and demonstrates strong Italian and English communication, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to drive multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.

Competenze

University degree in Construction Management or related field.
Experience as a Construction Project Manager in the real estate sector.
Business level Italian and English.
Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.
Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization and ability to multi-task.
Team attitude, self-motivated and willing to support other groups and projects.

Mansioni

Manage overall project cost, schedule and budgets.
Coordinate General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors and consultants.
Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
Review construction proposals and related pricing/scopes.
Review, correct and assess work-in-place, to approve capital expenditure spends.
Review and approve cost loaded schedules.
Run and lead client and other required meetings.
Identify factors influencing construction costs and monitor/report on data.
Review, validate and audit cost estimates prepared by contractors and others.
Support engineering decisions relating to project cost during design-build changes.
Review requests for payment.
Track and ensure equipment meets the project schedule.
Record occurrences that might result in a claim on behalf of the client.
Advocate on the client’s behalf during disputes or change orders.
Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews.
Review and approve final invoices and retention payments.
Oversee transfer of building operations to client including close-out documentation and warranties.
