Global Roles in Italy is seeking a Project Assistant (Cultural Mediation) to provide clerical and language support for outreach to migrants and to facilitate communication during inspections and information sessions with the National Labour Inspectorate.

The role requires a High School Diploma with three years’ relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree with one year, strong organizational skills, and the ability to mediate impartially in Italian, Urdu or Hindi.

Formación

• Requires High School Diploma with three years of relevant professional experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with one year of experience.
• Experience in clerical or administrative support functions such as filing, record-keeping, or data entry.
• Experience in cultural mediation with migrants or vulnerable groups is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Provide cultural mediation support to the Territorial Labour Inspectorates’ activities during inspections and information sessions.
• Assist in providing general information on recruitment, irregular work, and protection mechanisms related to exploitation and trafficking.
• Aid awareness-raising efforts on protection mechanisms for victims of labour exploitation and trafficking.
• Accompany inspection task forces and facilitate communication with migrants at sites within area of competence.
• Provide language support during outreach activities, inspections, and meetings, maintaining impartiality.
