Next Generation Robotics S.r.l. (NGR) is an innovative start-up spin-off company of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa. NGR operates in the field of collaborative robotics, developing advanced robotic systems combined with artificial intelligence algorithms aimed at inspection and monitoring applications in the railway sector.

Job Description :

The ideal Mid-senior Sales Manager is a quick learner with strong negotiating skills.

Customer-oriented, able to proactively identify customer pain points and respond accordingly by driving internal processes to fulfill customer needs.

The Mid-senior Sales Manager has the ability to evaluate the market and report regularly on its status.

The Mid-senior Sales Manager is self-motivated, able to work proactively with minimal guidance, and coordinate sales and marketing activities.

Objectives of this role :

  • Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of company products
  • Perform market research and identify promotion strategies for our solutions
  • Achieve company objectives by thorough planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
  • Generate leads and establish and nurture client relationships

Responsibilities :

  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan to expand our customer base and extend the company's global reach
  • Meet with potential clients and develop long-lasting relationships to address their needs
  • Lead and coordinate all sales activities locally and regionally
  • Prepare sales budgets and projections and approve expenditures
  • Serve as the entry point for worldwide sales representatives (agents/partners)
  • Manage customer portfolios, aiming to improve satisfaction and resolve issues
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans to address them
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare quotes and attend tenders
  • Participate in and organize market exhibitions and events

Required skills and qualifications :

  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus

  • A proven track record of successful sales performance is advantageous
