TXT Group is seeking a Middle-Level Embedded DSP Engineer to work on defense-grade software for porting, integrating, and validating a DSP-FPGA communication infrastructure. You will analyze legacy code, port it to the TI TMS320C6657 and enable PCIe-based communication with FPGA, while debugging with CCS and JTAG.

Competenze

• Embedded software development in C on DSPs or embedded processors.
• Experience with Texas Instruments DSPs, preferably C6000/Keystone family.
• Knowledge of Code Composer Studio (CCS) used for TI DSP development.

Mansioni

• Support porting of the MHAL message transport infrastructure for DSP-FPGA communication.
• Analyze and port the existing TI DSP code to the TMS320C6657 platform.
• Configure the DSP as a PCI Express Endpoint and enable FPGA communication over PCIe.
• Develop interrupt-driven (IRQ-based) message reception mechanisms.
• Adapt drivers and transport layers to the new architecture.
• Support system integration and debugging on embedded hardware.
• Produce technical documentation for software release.
