NTT DATA Europe & Latam is seeking a Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our team in Italy. You will build and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot in a microservices architecture, following an API-first approach to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

As part of a collaborative Agile environment, you will contribute to REST API development, support performance improvements, and work with QA, DevOps, and product owners to achieve sprint goals.

Competenze

• Minimum 3–5 years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing REST APIs and working with microservices.
• Proficient with relational databases (Oracle DB or MySQL) and GitLab.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and Agile/Scrum mindset.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain backend components using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement REST APIs and support microservices-based solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, QA, DevOps and Product Owners to deliver features.
• Support defect analysis, performance tuning and code quality improvements.
