SoftwareOne in Milan is seeking a Microsoft 365 Migration & Identity Specialist to lead tenant-to-tenant migrations and design secure, compliant transition strategies across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.

You will collaborate with customers, architects, and delivery teams to design and execute complex migration plans, ensure secure transitions, and support Copilot adoption and governance. This role offers a hybrid work setup and international collaboration.

Competenze

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Migration & Identity Specialist with hands‑on experience delivering tenant‑to‑tenant migration projects and deepexpertisein identity, access management, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. In this customer‑facing role, you will work closely with customers, architects, and delivery teams to design and execute complex migration strategies, ensuring secure, compliant, and seamless transitions with minimal business disruption.

KeyResponsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, including migration strategy design, coexistence planning, and cutover execution
• Manage and troubleshoot identity and directory-related challenges , including Entra ID (Azure AD), domain consolidation, federation, identity mapping, and user lifecycle management
• Utilize QuestonDemand Migration, Migration Manager , or equivalent migration platforms to deliver secure and efficient migration projects
• Assess andoptimizeMicrosoft 365 licensing models to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and alignment with business requirements
• Implement and support Microsoft 365 security solutions , including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Microsoft Defender technologies
• Support Microsoft Copilot adoption and governance whileprovidingbest-practice guidance to customers and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies, while producing technical documentation, migration runbooks, operational handover materials, and best-practice guidance for customers and internal teams

Job Requirements

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations , including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams environments
• Strongexpertisein Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including identity synchronization, federation, identity governance, and access management
• Hands-on experience with migration tools such as Quest On Demand Migration, Migration Manager, BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate , or similar platforms
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing models , including E3, E5, Business Premium, add-ons, and advanced security capabilities
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance , including Microsoft Defender, Purview (Compliance, DLP, eDiscovery), and Conditional Access policies
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, data security, governance, and user enablement initiatives
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and migrations
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement
