MES consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a professional with the following qualifications and experience:

1. Experience: 8 to 20 years of relevant experience in the field.
2. Work Mode: Remote work with occasional travel to client offices.
3. Languages: Proficiency in English and Italian.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. Mandatory experience and technical knowledge with AVEVA MES solutions.
2. Hands-on experience with AVEVA MES Modules such as Performance, Operations, and Quality.
3. Experience with AVEVA InTouch and/or OMI.
4. Strong knowledge of Production Scheduling, Optimization, Production Sequencing, Order Execution, Genealogy, Traceability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), ERP Integration, Production Quality, and Automation.
5. Ability to prepare and understand functional requirements for Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Manufacturing IT systems.
6. Experience in translating business requirements into functional or technical solutions by mapping business processes to manufacturing IT MES systems.
7. Proficient in preparing Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Design Specifications (FDS), testing, and validation exercises, including constructing test scripts for SITUAT and functional validation.
8. Knowledge of industry standards such as ISA-95, ISA-88, MESA, GMP, etc.
9. Experience with upgrade and migration projects, employing various tools, approaches, and best practices.
10. Understanding of control systems automation and their integration with MES.
11. Manufacturing domain experience across diverse industries.
